Last week, we explored the biblical tests Scripture gives us for evaluating a claimed prophetic gift. In this episode, we apply those tests directly to Ellen G. White.
What role did she claim for herself? Did she place her writings above the Bible—or under its authority? Did her ministry point people toward Jesus? What fruit did it produce? And how should we approach the difficult questions involving context, predictions, literary borrowing, and statements that have sometimes been misunderstood or misused?
This is not an attempt to defend every quotation or dismiss every concern. It is an honest effort to examine Ellen White fairly through the lens of Scripture—without blind loyalty, automatic rejection, or the occasional religious torch.
Scripture remains the standard. Jesus remains the center. And the invitation is simple: test everything and hold on to what is good.
